The role

We are seeking someone to lead our video editing department.

Taking over from the founder

Right now our founder does all the video editing. You'll work one on one with the founder, learn how we do things, and take the editing over. As we grow, you'll build a team of your own.

How the work reaches you

We plan every client's content each month: what each video is for and how it should be built.

Each edit arrives as a job with the plan, a reference video showing the style, and the raw footage ready on our server. You never start from a blank page.

You edit it: cut, colour grade, sound and text.

It goes to review, then to the client. If the client asks for changes, they come back to you. You make them and keep the client happy.

The work

Videos only. Mostly vertical reels for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, plus horizontal videos and ads.
Two kinds of edit: high-quality pieces built in DaVinci Resolve, like the examples, and quick clips in CapCut.
On average, a basic edit takes about 1.5 hours and a complex one up to 4 hours.
Colour: you grade S-Log and RAW footage. Some clients have a set look. We're building looks for the rest, and you'll help shape them.
Our clients are restaurants, cafés, entertainment venues and accommodation in Adelaide.

What you'll need

3+ years editing for brands or social media
You'll edit and grade fully in DaVinci Resolve.
CapCut for quick turnarounds
Range across editing styles
Clear written English for working with clients
You take feedback well and turn changes around quickly
You hit deadlines, and you tell us early if something's running late
Reliability: online Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Philippine time
Your own computer that can edit 4K footage in DaVinci Resolve, and fast, stable internet for downloading large footage files
The drive to take over the department and build a team

Claude

Claude is an important part of our workflow, and you must learn it. Training is provided, and we pay for your subscription.

Pay and growth

₱60,000 a month during the 3-month probation. After that, salary is an open conversation. As the business grows, so do your pay and your position.
